皆さん、こんにちは！
今度のボードゲームイベントは中之条町で開催します！
それに、いつもの「ナイト」ではなくて、今回は「デイ」（お昼）で開催します。
土曜日の午後、JOMO JETと一緒に英語を練習しながらボードゲームでもいかがですか？

内容：世界で人気がある英語のボードゲームなどで遊びましょう。
県内ALTなどと英語で会話をしながら、駒を動かしたり、カードなどで遊んだりして、楽しい時間を過ごしましょう。英語初心者の方も大歓迎！
■日時：5月12日（土）、14:00-16:00 (13:45 受付)
■場所：ツインプラザ 大会議室（2階）
（群馬県吾妻郡中之条町大字伊勢町1005-1）
■参加費：無料（事前申し込みが必要です）
■締め切り：5月11日（金）、正午
■定員：30名 定員になり次第締め切ります。（キャンセル待ち可）
＊15 歳未満の参加者は保護者の同伴が必要となります。

Hello, everyone!
The next board game event will be held in Nakanojo! With that, instead of the usual board game “night”, it will be a board game “day” event. How about practicing English while enjoying board games with JOMO JET on a fine Saturday afternoon?
■Date & Time: Saturday, May 12, 14:00-16:00 (registration at 13:45)
■Venue: Twin Plaza  Daikaigi-shitsu (Grand Meeting Room) 2nd floor
（1005-1 Ise-machi, Nakanojo-machi, Agatsuma)
■Cost: Free (prior registration is required)
■Deadline: Friday, May 11 by 12:00pm
■Capacity limit: 30 participants (registration will close once capacity is filled)
＊Participants under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a parent.

Easter Egg Dyeing & Trash Collecting (4/21) 開催のお知らせ

JOMO Easter Earth Day
4月の海外の祝日「イースター」と「アースデイ」をJOMO JETのメンバーと一緒にお祝いしましょう！
「アースデイ」のイベントとして川沿いのゴミ拾い、「イースター」のイベントとしてイースターエッグ作り（卵の色付け）やイースターエッグハント（子ども向けのゲーム）に参加してみませんか?
最後に皆さんで交流しながら持ってきたお弁当を一緒に食べましょう！
■ 日時：4月21日（土）　10:30～12:30（受付：10：15～）
■ 場所：高崎公園（集合場所：遊具前の芝生）
（群馬県高崎市宮元町144）
■ 参加費：無料（事前申し込みが必要です）
■ 締め切り：4月20日（金）、正午
■ 定員：20名　定員になり次第締め切ります。
＊川沿いのゴミ拾いのため、小学生以上の方の参加をおすすめします。
＊15 歳未満の参加者は保護者の同伴が必要となります。

Easter Egg Dyeing & Trash Collecting

Come and celebrate two April holidays – Easter and Earth Day – together with JOMO JET!
For Earth Day, we will be collecting trash by the river, and for Easter, we will make Easter eggs (egg dyeing) and have an Easter egg hunt (game for kids).
At the end, we will eat lunch and enjoy conversation together!
■ Date & Time: April 21 (Sat.)  10:30-12:30 (Registration from 10:15)
■ Location: Takasaki Park (Meeting place: Grassy area in front of the playground equipment)
(144 Miyamoto-cho, Takasaki)
■ Cost: Free (Prior registration is required)
■ Registration Deadline: Friday, April 20, noon (12pm)
■ Max. Participants: 20 (Registration will close when capacity is reached)
*Since we will pick up trash near the river, we recommend participants are elementary students or older.
*Participants under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a parent.
■ Things to Bring: Lunch, cotton gloves (for trash collection), etc.
■ How to Apply: Please tell us your 1) name, 2) age, and 3) phone number by telephone or email.

Thank You! * 2017 International Carnival ＊2017 国際カーニバル

The 5th Annual International Carnival was held on Sunday, November 26th at Viento Takasaki in conjunction with Takasaki International Relations Society (TIRS). At this year’s main event, in addition to our JOMO JET members, there were many volunteers that helped from beginning to end. Participants were able to enjoy learning about different countries and cultures through posters, booths, demonstrations, and performances.
11月26日（日）に、高崎ビエントで高崎市国際交流協会と一緒、国際カーニバルを開催しました。毎年国際カーニバルはJOMO JETのメインイベントになっているから、JOMO JETのメンバー以外に、多いボランティアが最初から、最後まで頑張って手伝ってくれました。参加者はポスター、体験、パフォーマンスなどを通して、色々な国や文化について楽しんで学べました。

This year we had seven booths in total. These booths represented Australia, Indonesia, Nepal, Philippines, Canada, Hawaii, and African American Culture. With many unique things to learn and try, these booths were some of the best yet!
今年はブースを全部で７個もあった。今回はオーストラリア、インドネシア、ネパール、カナダ、ハワイ、アフリカ系アメリカ人文化。色々な事を学べたり、試してみたりすることができて、今年のブースがとても面白かったです！

There was a lot of delicious food from many countries, and fun activities such as face painting, kimono etiquette, and an international stamp rally for all to enjoy!
多い国の美味しい食べ物ありました。誰も楽しめる、フェイスペイント、着付け、国際スタンプラリーもありました！

This year’s performances included exciting musical acts, traditional dances, and martial arts such as capoeira.
今年は音楽の演奏、伝統的な踊り、カポエイラといった外国の武道、等の色々な素晴らしいパフォーマンスがありました。
