皆様、おはようございます！梅雨はもう始まったそうですね。雨に濡れないように頑張りましょう！
さて、次のイベントは大人気の高崎ボードーゲームナイトです。今年の場所は高崎駅から歩いて3分で、すごく便利ですよ！
毎年一番人気のボードーゲームナイトなので、ご都合つきましたら、お早めにご連絡ください！

内容: 世界で人気がある英語のボードゲームなどで遊びましょう。
ALTや国際交流員と英語で会話をしながら、駒を動かしたり、カードで遊んだりして、楽しい時間を過ごしましょう。英語初心者の方も大歓迎です。

■日時：7月7日（金）、19:00～21:00（受付：18:45～）
■場所：Spectrum　Room 3A (3階)
（高崎市栄町14-1　高崎イーストセンタービル302）
＊室内は土足禁止となっていますので、上履を持ってきて下さい。
■参加費：無料（事前申し込みが必要です）
■締め切り：7月6日（木）、正午
■定員：30名　定員になり次第締め切ります

＊15 歳未満の参加者は保護者の同伴が必要となります
■駐車場：会場の駐車場はないため、なるべく電車でお越し下さい。お車でお越しの方は周辺の有料の駐車場をご利用ください

JOMO JET’s next event will be the ever-popular Takasaki Board Game Night! This year’s location is more convenient than ever, only a 3 minute walk from Takasaki Station!
Takasaki BGN is always one of our most popular events, so be sure to register soon!!

Event Details: Let’s chat in English and play games together! English beginners are also welcome.

■Date & Time: Friday, July 7, 19:00-21:00
(Registration from 18:45)
■Venue: Spectrum Room 3A (3rd Floor)
(302 Takasaki East Center Building, 14-1 Sakae-cho, Takasaki)
*Please bring slippers or indoor shoes with you, as shoes are not allowed in the room
■Cost: Free (prior registration is required)
■Deadline: Thursday, July 6, 12pm
■Capacity: 30 people
(registration will close when capacity is reached, but a waiting list option is available)
*Participants under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
■Parking: There is no parking at the venue. We encourage participants to come by train. For those who drive, please use a nearby paid parking lot.

JOMO JET hosted Annaka Board Game Night on Friday, May 12 at the Matsuida Community Center. It was our very first event in Annaka!

JOMO JETは５月１２日（金）に松井田公民館で安中ボードゲームナイトを開催しました。安中市での初イベントでした!

People of all ages from different cities joined us for the event.

参加者は子どもから大人まで、色々なところからきていただきました。

We played five games including English Jenga, which was not only fun to play, but fun to watch as well.

今回は５つのゲームで遊びました。その一つの英語のジェンガは遊ぶことはもちろん見ることも楽しかったです。

During break time, we were able to enjoy some Japanese flower arrangements displayed at the community center.

休み時間に公民館で展示された生け花を楽しめることもできました。

For most participants, it was their first time at a JOMO JET event. Thank you so much for joining us, and we hope to see you soon at another event!

国際的な短編映画上映会&ディスカッション開催のお知らせ (06/11)

3回目の上映会イベントを6月11日（日）に開催いたします！国際的な短編映画をいくつか上映し、小グループで映画のテーマや異文化・多文化についての短い話し合いを行 います。話し合いは日本語と英語を混ぜて行いますので、どなたでも参加して頂けます。是非、私たちと一緒に映画を見て、お話をしましょう！

  • 対象：中学1年生以上 (＊15 歳未満の参加者は保護者の同伴が必要となります
  • 日時：6月11日（日）15:00～17:00
  • 場所：高崎市地域活性化センター（通称・高崎電気館）
    高崎市柳川町３１番地 （高崎駅より徒歩１５分）
  • 参加費：無料 （事前申し込みが必要です）
  • 定員：25名 （定員になり次第、締め切ります）
  • 締め切り：6月9（金）12:00まで
  • 駐車場：お車でお越しの方は周辺のタイムズなどの駐車場をご利用ください

JOMO JET will host our 3rd movie-viewing event on Sunday, June 11th! We will watch a few short international films. After each film, we’ll have small group discussions in both English and Japanese. We will discuss cultural differences and similarities and since the discussions will be a mixture of both languages, anyone is welcome to participate. Please join us!

  • Target Audience: Junior High School Grade 1 and up (those under 15 must be accompanied by a guardian)
