皆さんおはようございます！群馬県中部を代表する大人気の前橋ボードゲームナイトは9月15日(金)に開催いたします。すぐ定員になるはずなのでお早めにお申し込みください！

世界で人気がある英語のボードゲームなどで遊びましょう。
ALTや国際交流員と英語で会話をしながら、駒を動かしたり、カードなどで遊んだりして、楽しい時間を過ごしましょう。英語初心者の方も大歓迎です。

■日時：9月15日（金）、19:00-21:00　（受付：18:45～）
■場所：昭和庁舎　35会議室
（群馬県前橋市大手町1-1-1）
■参加費：無料（事前申し込みが必要です）
■締め切り：9月14日（木）、正午
■定員：25名　定員になり次第締め切ります。
＊15 歳未満の参加者は保護者の同伴が必要となります。

Good morning everyone! One of our most popular events, Maebashi Board Game Night, will be held on Friday, September 15th! It’s likely that this event will fill up fast, so be sure to register as soon as possible!

Event Details: Let’s chat in English and play games together! English beginners are also welcome.

■Date & Time: Friday, September 15th, 19:00-21:00
(Registration from 18:45)
■Venue: Showa Chosa – Room 35
(1-1-1 Ote-machi, Maebashi)
■Cost: Free (prior registration is required)
■Deadline: Thursday, September 14th, 12pm
■Capacity: 25 people
(registration will close when capacity is reached, but a waiting list option is available)
*Participants under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian

On Friday, July 7th, JOMO JET held Takasaki Board Game Night at Spectrum.

JOMO JETは７月７日（金）にSpectrumで高崎ボードゲームナイトを開催しました。

This time, we had eight different games. Many people tried new games for the first time, but there was also the well-known Jomo Karuta. Of course, it was the English version!

今回、ゲームは８種類ありました。多くの参加者は色々なゲームを初めて体験しましたが、皆さんがよく知っている上毛かるたもありました。もちろん、英語版のカルタでした！

Also, we introduced a new English-only sticker system. Participants who wanted to be spoken to in only English could put a sticker on their name tag. For many people, it was a fun challenge and way to practice more English!

そして、初めて「English-onlyシール」を紹介しました。ゲーム中、英語だけを使いたい参加者には、シールを名札に貼ってもらいました。多くの方々にとって、英語だけで話すことは楽しいチャレンジで、たくさん英語の練習ができました！

Sadly, it is once again the time of year to say goodbye to many JOMO JET members. We wished Tabitha, Crystal, and Brandon the best of luck. We were able to have a fantastic last event with them.

残念ながら、またJOMO JETのメンバーの中で、たくさんのメンバーとお別れの時期になってしまいました。タビサ、クリスタル、ブランドンの、今後ますますの活躍を期待しています。彼らとの最後のイベントは最高でした。

6月11日（日）にJOMO JETの3回目の上映会イベントに御参加いただいた皆さま、誠にありがとうございました！参加者の多くは、この上映会が初めてのJOMO JETイベントでした。去年の上映会イベントが大好評だったためJOMO JETのメンバーは今年のイベントを本当に楽しみにしていました。Thanks very much to everyone who participated in our third JOMO JET Film Event on Sunday, June 11! There were many new faces at this year’s film event, as well. JOMO JET members have been looking forward to it since last year’s was so popular.

そして、JOMO JETのメンバー達とボランティアの皆さんのおかげで、グループにわかれて、みなさんに日本語と英語、両方の言葉で参加して頂けました。皆さまに異文化・多文化のこと、テーマや自分の意見について小グループでよく話し合っていただき、ディスカッションを楽しめたと思います。Thanks to our volunteers everyone could participate, whether speaking in Japanese or English. Everyone seemed to enjoy discussing the foreign and multicultural aspects, themes, and personal opinions about the films in their small discussion groups.

Out of Sight

おもしろくて、可愛くて、想像力を働かせるたくさんの映画を観ましたが、参加者の皆さんに書いていただいたアンケートによると、「Out of Sight」が一番人気の短編映画でした。There were many films that were very interesting and cute as well as films that inspired imagination, but according to the participants surveys, Out of Sight was the most popular short film.
