このホリデーシーズンにボードゲームナイトが富岡市を訪れました！さまざまな年齢の方々が富岡市の生涯学習センターに来て、色々なゲームを楽しんでいました。ここで言語交換をしたり、新しいゲームをやってみたり、新しい友達を作ったりしました。サンタさんも顔を出してくれました！

This holiday season brought Board Game Night to Tomioka! People of various ages came out to enjoy a round of games at the Lifelong Learning Center, just the right venue to practice language exchange, learn new games, and make new friends! Even Santa Claus came for a visit!

新しいゲーム「ビート・ザ・バザード」が大ヒットでした！

“Beat the Buzzard” was a new addition to our game portfolio and turned out to be a hit!

大人気の「トラブル」というなゲームもありました！
And there was Pop-O-Matic Trouble—a classic!

Santa got in on the fun too! サンタさんも一緒に遊びました！

Jenga brought the suspense! ジェンガはドキドキしますねー。

Guest appearances by games from Singapore made for great fun! シンガポール人の友だちはシンガポールのゲームを紹介してくれました！とても楽しかったです！

There was even…an arm-wrestling match? A battle of champions! 腕相撲試合もあったんですねー　天下分け目の激戦！

世界で人気がある英語のボードゲームで遊びましょう。
県内のALTたちと英語で会話をしながら、駒を動かしたり、
カードなどで遊んだりして、楽しい時間を過ごしましょう。
英語初心者の方も大歓迎！

Come speak in English with local ALTs while we play all kinds of games. It’ll be a lot of fun!

Thank you! * 2019 International Carnival * 2019 インタナショナルカーニバル！

The 7th annual International Carnival was held on Sunday, October 27th at Viento Takasaki in conjunction with the Takasaki International Relations Society (TIRS). With the help of our many members and volunteers, we were able to showcase interesting booths representing different countries. 

１０月２７日の日曜日に、第７回「国際交流の集い」がビエント高崎にて行われました。このイベントは毎年、高崎市国際交流協会（TIRS）と連携して行われています。たくさんのメンバーとボランティアのご協力をいただいて、色々な外国の文化を紹介する、とても興味深いブースを展示できました。

This year, participants had the opportunity to learn about many different countries, including: Australia, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, Panama, the Philippines, Singapore, and the U.K.   

今回は、参加者にとって、たくさんの国のことを学ぶ機会となりました。出展国は、オーストラリア、カナダ、メキシコ、ニュージーランド、パナマ、ヒィリピン、シンガポール及びイギリスです。

There were many fun activities to try.

楽しい体験やゲームもたくさんありました。

Participants had the opportunity to try henna tattoos, face painting, wearing kimonos, and lots of delicious food from different countries.

参加者はヘナタトゥー、フェイスペインティング、着物の着付けなどの文化活動や各国からのおいしい伝統的な食べ物を楽しむことができました。

There were also many interesting live performances including a trivia game and some traditional dances. It was really fun!

そして、トリビアゲームやダンスなど、たくさんの盛り上がる活動を実施しました。とても楽しかったです！

A big thank you to everyone who volunteered or participated. We hope you enjoyed the 2019 International Carnival as much as we did, and we are looking forward to seeing you at our next event.

ボランティアとしてご協力いただいた方々には、心より感謝申し上げます。参加者の皆さんが２０１９年度インタナショナルカーニバルを楽しんでいただけたことと思います。そして、また次回も皆さんにお会いできることを楽しみにしております。
