今年の十五夜は９月２１日です。残暑が和らぐ秋の夜を味わいながら、美しい満月を眺めるのはまさに仲秋の風物詩ですね。そういえば、「月が綺麗ですね」を英語に訳すと、「I love you」になるという話は聞いたことがありますか？
その信憑性については何とも言えませんが、お月見のとき外国人に「月が美しいです」という気持ちを伝えようと思って「I love you!!!」といきなり言い出したら、誤解を招いてしまう可能性が高いと思えます。
今度の水曜日、９月８日開催の「第１７回e会話」では、うっかり告白をせずに天体の意見交換をできるようになりましょう！
語学のレベルを問わずどなたでも参加しやすい環境を心がけていますので、興味のある方はぜひご参加ください！

＜注意事項＞
1．参加にあたって未成年の方は保護者の同意が必要です。未成年の方が参加された場合は、保護者の同意が得られているものとみなします。また、高校以下の生徒及び児童は参加不可となります。
2. 「Discord」アプリは13歳未満の利用が禁じられています。
3. マイク、カメラを使用できるパソコンで、「Discord」アプリが使える端末が必要です。
4. Discordアプリは事前にインストールをお願いします。すでにインストールしている方は、最新版に更新してください。
5. インターネット環境はWi-Fi等の通信環境が良い場所での参加をお願いします。
6. 通信費用、光熱費等、当イベントにかかる一切の費用は参加者の自己負担になります。
7. Discordのインストール及び利用、各ゲームのウェブサイトへのアクセス、その他当イベント参加に起因して生じるトラブルについて、運営者は一切の責任を負わないことを同意した上でお申し込みください。
e-Kaiwa #17: Forest of Giant Trees (9/8)!
Fall in Japan means relief from the lingering heat of summer and gazing at the moon on cool, clear evenings. You might have even heard that Japanese people tell each other “I love you” by saying “the moon is beautiful tonight.” However, this poses a problem. What if you just want to share your opinion about a pleasant-looking celestial body without hitting on your friends?

JOMO JET and GJEE will team up again to host this super simple online language exchange event. Groups of two English speakers and two Japanese speakers talk for 30 minutes in English and for 30 minutes in Japanese. Anyone can join regardless of language level, so we hope to see you there!

1. Applicants under 18 years of age must have the permission of their parent or legal guardian in order to participate. Individuals under 18 years of age who register for this event are understood to have obtained the permission of their parent or legal guardian. Furthermore, students enrolled in elementary, junior high, or high school may not attend.

3. In order to participate in this event, a computer with a microphone and camera and capable of running Discord is required.

5. Please ensure that you have a stable internet connection before participating in this event.
6. Data fees, lighting, electricity, and all other expenses incurred through participation in this event are the sole responsibility of the participant.

The applicant understands and agrees to bear full responsibility for any problems or technical issues that may occur when installing Discord, accessing any of the game websites, or any other problem that occurs as a result of participating in this event, and furthermore consents that the event hosts shall bear no responsibility whatsoever for what occurs.
