eボードゲームナイトとしたボードゲームのイベントを引き続き開催しました。お家から参加するのに、新しい人との出会いを楽しみました。先のeボードゲームナイトは８月７日でした。

We’ve continued to hold our Board Game Nights online, as e-Board Game Nights! This way, we can still meet new people and have fun, while staying safely at home! Our latest e Board Game Night was July 8th.

新型コロナウイルスの影響でイベントをしばらく開催できていませんでしたが、６月１９日に初めてのeボードゲームナイトを開催しました。いつものボードゲームイベントより人数が少なかったですが、皆さんにお家からご参加いただき、オンラインゲームや言語・文化交流を楽しめました。

今回はアップル・トゥ・アップル、スキャテゴリーズ、スクリブリオとコードネームの４つから選び、色々なゲームで遊びました。

ゲームは主に英語で実施しましたが、日本語のゲームもありました！

これからもJOMO JETはお家から参加できるようなイベントを色々考えますので、ぜひ次回のイベントでお会いしましょう！

Unfortunately, due to the spread of COVID-19 and the ongoing pandemic, we weren’t able to host any in-person events for a few months. However, on June 19, we were able to host the very first JOMO JET eBoard Game Night! Although it was a bit smaller than our usual board game events, everyone was able to enjoy online games, language exchange, and cultural exchange all from the safety of our homes.

Throughout the night, participants were able to play games such as Apples to Apples, Scattegories, Skribblio, and Kodenames.

Most games were played in English, but we even had some chances to play games in Japanese!

JOMO JET is constantly thinking of new ways to host events during these difficult times, so hopefully we’ll have something exciting for you in the near future!

*“Kodenames” is just one of the four fantastic online games we featured at our first ever* eBoard Game event!

Thank you! * Tomioka Board Game Night * 富岡市ボードゲームナイト

このホリデーシーズンにボードゲームナイトが富岡市を訪れました！さまざまな年齢の方々が富岡市の生涯学習センターに来て、色々なゲームを楽しんでいました。ここで言語交換をしたり、新しいゲームをやってみたり、新しい友達を作ったりしました。サンタさんも顔を出してくれました！

This holiday season brought Board Game Night to Tomioka! People of various ages came out to enjoy a round of games at the Lifelong Learning Center, just the right venue to practice language exchange, learn new games, and make new friends! Even Santa Claus came for a visit!
