Hello! My name is Forrest, and I’m from North Carolina in the United States. I work as a CIR (Coordinator for International Relations) in Maebashi. I love movies, languages, and reading, and I can often be found at any of the many wonderful cinemas in Takasaki. Let’s chat at a JOMO JET event!

チェルシー (Chelsea)

Heya! My name’s Chelsea, and I’m from Indiana in the U.S. I was an ALT in Takasaki from 2017 to 2023, and now I work in Maebashi as an ALT Advisor. I’m a bit of a homebody, but I also love cooking, gardening, dancing, gaming, drawing, and collecting mascot characters. 皆さん、はじめまして！私の名前はカデリーです。すっごく晴れている（と言いたいところですがめちゃめちゃ曇っている）スコットランドから来ました。趣味はハイキングとお寺巡り、そしてお寺巡りのためのハイキングです。また妖怪と相撲が本当に大好きです！とてもかっこよくて興味深いです。もし妖怪と相撲が好きな人がいたら一緒に語りましょう！よろしくお願いします！

初めまして、インディーと申します。アメリカ出身で、大学を卒業後、静岡県でJETプログラムに参加しました。
その後、結婚を機に群馬県高崎市に引っ越してきました。趣味は絵を描くこと、国内旅行、そして言語を学ぶことです。次に挑戦したい言語は韓国語と中国語です。大の猫好きで、街を歩きながら猫を探すのが日課です。

Hello, my name is Indy! I’m from Colorado in the United States, and after university, I began working in Shizuoka as part of the JET Program. Then, I moved to Takasaki in Gunma and got married to my wonderful husband.
My hobbies include (but are not limited to) painting and drawing, traveling across Japan, and learning new languages! I’d like to learn Korean and Chinese next!
I’m such a cat person that you can find me roaming the streets looking for stray cats to play with.

Hello, my name is Evie! I was born in Australia and moved to New Zealand when I was 15 years old. After I graduated university, I worked at Walt Disney World in Florida, USA. So, I love Disney. Mabuhay/Hello! I am Alanna. I was born in Manila, Philippines but I moved to Saskatchewan, Canada. I currently work as an ALT in Takasaki. Hello! I’m Maheen, a Pakistani-American ALT placed in Yoshioka. On my days off, I like driving around Gunma to visit all the mountains, shrines, and temples. I also enjoy drawing, thrifting, crafting, cooking (and EATING), discovering new music, and learning about people’s cultures and stories.
